Fulbright Project: Impact and management of major incidents within the police communications environment, John Jay College of Criminal Justice of City University of New York
Lauren Collins has been the Training and Development Manager for the Operational Communications Branch of Greater Manchester Police for nearly 3 years. She used her Fulbright award to conduct research into communications failures during major incidents within the police telecommunications environment, carrying out this research with the NYPD in order to bring back recommendations for improvements to UK policing. Lauren’s academic background is in Psychology and Neuro Linguistic Programming, as well as a member of the International Neuro Linguistic Programming Trainers Association and whilst in New York she further developed her skills in this area.
